Hire a driver in DHA Rawalpindi, Rawalpindi

If you live or work in DHA Rawalpindi, Rawalpindi and need a dependable driver for your own vehicle, HireDriver.pk arranges full-time placements around your routine, from the first school drop to the last office pickup.

Most enquiries from DHA Rawalpindi are for one of five roles: a personal driver for daily commutes and meetings, a family driver for school runs and household trips, a full-time driver who covers everything in one long day, a monthly driver on a fixed roster, or an office driver for a company car. Each role is a long-term job, not a one-off booking, which is why we spend time understanding your day before shortlisting anyone.

Our terms are the same in DHA Rawalpindi as everywhere else we work: one agency fee equal to the driver’s first monthly salary, the salary paid by you directly to the driver, and a free replacement if the placed driver leaves for any reason within six months.

Start with the phase, block and gate

In DHA Rawalpindi, add the relevant block, gate or phase to your brief. Confirm access permissions and where the driver should report before the first duty. Specify your locality, housing society phase or cantonment pickup point. Mention any entry arrangements and the full return journey.

Planning a driver’s daily routine from DHA Rawalpindi

Drivers judge a job by its hours and its route. Before you enquire, write down a typical weekday from DHA Rawalpindi: when the car leaves, every stop, how long you wait at each, and when the day ends. Specify your locality, housing society phase or cantonment pickup point. Mention any entry arrangements and the full return journey.

Many DHA Rawalpindi routines cross between Islamabad and Rawalpindi on Srinagar Highway, the Islamabad Expressway, Murree Road or IJP Road. Mention cross-city trips and peak-hour timings, because they change the length of the duty day and the experience the driver needs.

A realistic routine also lists the quiet hours. If the car is idle between the morning school run and the afternoon pickup, decide whether the driver runs errands, rests or returns home. Clarity on this gap is one of the most common reasons placements work well.

How much does it cost to hire a driver in DHA Rawalpindi, Rawalpindi?

Hiring a full-time driver in DHA Rawalpindi, Rawalpindi has two costs. The first is the driver’s monthly salary, which you pay directly to the driver every month. The second is HireDriver.pk’s placement fee, which is charged once and equals the driver’s first monthly salary. There is no monthly commission, no registration charge and no hidden renewal fee.

The legal floor for a full-time salary in DHA Rawalpindi, Rawalpindi is the Punjab minimum wage for unskilled workers: Rs 40,000 per month for 26 working days (FY 2025-26 (notified 8 September 2025)). No FY 2026-27 revision confirmed at the time of writing; check the Punjab Labour Department. A driver is a skilled role, so most experienced drivers are paid above this floor. Published market data shows a very wide spread: WageIndicator reports pay for car, taxi and van drivers in Pakistan from Rs 16,710 to Rs 92,896 a month in 2026, and Indeed’s national average for drivers was Rs 30,006 a month (1 August 2026, 449 reported salaries). Those averages include part-time and informal work; for a full-time household or office role you should plan for at least the statutory minimum.

What pushes a driver’s salary up: long or unpredictable hours, frequent late evenings, Sunday duty, premium or automatic vehicles, executive and guest-handling duties, and a live-out arrangement where the driver commutes. What keeps it predictable: a fixed duty window, one weekly day off, a clear overtime rule and a written list of duties. Fuel, tolls, parking and servicing remain the car owner’s costs unless you agree otherwise.

Checks to complete before a driver starts in DHA Rawalpindi, Rawalpindi

A good placement is built on checks you can actually verify. Before a driver starts work in DHA Rawalpindi, Rawalpindi, ask for the original CNIC, a valid driving licence for your vehicle class and contact details for at least two previous employers. In Punjab, licences are issued by the Punjab Police driving licence system (DLIMS), which offers online licence verification; confirm the licence number, category and expiry date there rather than relying on a photocopy.

• CNIC: match the name and photograph to the person you meet, and keep a copy with consent.
• Driving licence: check the category covers your car (a car/jeep licence for a private car; LTV or HTV for commercial vehicles) and that it has not expired.
• References: speak to previous employers yourself and ask how long the driver worked, why they left and whether they would rehire.
• Police character certificate: ask for a police character certificate, available through Punjab Police Khidmat Markaz centres where available.
• Trial drive: a supervised drive in your own car, on your real route, including parking and a busy junction.
• Written terms: duties, hours, salary, weekly day off, overtime and notice period.

Household employment in Punjab is also covered by the Punjab Domestic Workers Act, 2019. Read the current text or take advice on written terms, rest days and wages for domestic workers before finalising the agreement.
