Our one-time agency fee is equal to the driver’s first monthly salary. This fee is charged once. It is not a recurring monthly commission.
The driver’s monthly salary is separate from the one-time agency fee.
If a driver placed by HireDriver.pk leaves the job for any reason before completing 6 months, we provide a replacement without an additional agency fee.
When you need a replacement under this policy, share your original placement details, start date and the date the driver left.
HireDriver.pk charges one agency fee equal to the driver’s first monthly salary, paid once. There is no monthly commission. If the placed driver leaves for any reason within six months, we provide a replacement with no additional agency fee.
HireDriver.pk charges a single placement fee when a driver starts with you. The fee equals the driver’s first monthly salary. It is not a monthly commission and it is not deducted from the driver’s pay. After the fee, your only ongoing cost is the salary you pay the driver directly.
Example: if you agree a monthly salary of Rs 45,000 with your driver, our one-time fee is Rs 45,000. In month two and every month after, you pay only the driver’s Rs 45,000 salary. (The figure is an illustration, not a recommended salary.)
If the driver we placed leaves your job for any reason before completing six months, we provide a replacement driver without an additional agency fee. “Any reason” means exactly that: the driver resigns, stops coming to work or the placement ends for another reason within the six-month period.
Driver agencies in Pakistan use different models: some charge a percentage of salary every month, some charge a registration fee plus commission, and some offer no replacement at all. Before choosing an agency, ask three questions: is the fee one-time or recurring, what exactly does the replacement cover and for how long, and is the fee refundable if no driver is placed.
We confirm the payment timing and terms with you in writing before a placement starts, so there are no surprises. Sending an enquiry is free and does not commit you to hiring.
Because the fee equals the first monthly salary, it scales with the salary you agree. The table shows the fee if a driver were paid exactly the full-time minimum wage in each province; real salaries are usually higher.
| Province / territory | Minimum monthly wage | One-time fee at that salary | Monthly commission |
|---|---|---|---|
| Islamabad Capital Territory | Rs 40,700 | Rs 40,700 | None |
| Sindh | Rs 43,000 | Rs 43,000 | None |
| Punjab | Rs 40,000 | Rs 40,000 | None |
| Khyber Pakhtunkhwa | Rs 40,000 | Rs 40,000 | None |
| Balochistan | Rs 37,000 | Rs 37,000 | None |
A recurring commission looks small but compounds. Over 24 months, a 10% monthly commission on a driver’s salary costs 2.4 months of salary; our one-time fee costs one month of salary, once. The percentage is an illustration of how monthly models add up, not a quote from any agency.
| Agency model | Agency cost over 24 months | Deducted from driver? |
|---|---|---|
| One-time fee (HireDriver.pk) | 1 × monthly salary | No |
| 10% monthly commission (example) | 2.4 × monthly salary | Sometimes |
You can hire a driver yourself through referrals or classifieds, and many people do. The difficulty is time and risk: you have to screen dozens of calls, check documents you may not know how to verify, and start again from zero if the driver leaves after a month.
A placement agency does the first round of work for you. At HireDriver.pk we turn your requirements into a clear brief, shortlist drivers who fit your car, location and hours, and share their experience and references so you can run your own checks. You still interview, trial and choose the driver yourself, and you employ them directly. The difference is the safety net: if the driver we place leaves for any reason within six months, we provide a replacement without an additional agency fee.
| Hiring yourself | Through HireDriver.pk | |
|---|---|---|
| Finding candidates | Referrals, classifieds | Shortlist matched to your brief |
| Screening | You do it all | First round done for you |
| Cost | Your time | One-time fee = first monthly salary |
| If the driver leaves early | Start again | Free replacement within 6 months |
| Who employs the driver | You | You |
Hiring a full-time driver in Pakistan has two costs. The first is the driver’s monthly salary, which you pay directly to the driver every month. The second is HireDriver.pk’s placement fee, which is charged once and equals the driver’s first monthly salary. There is no monthly commission, no registration charge and no hidden renewal fee.
The legal floor for a full-time salary in Pakistan is the Islamabad Capital Territory minimum wage for unskilled workers: Rs 40,700 per month for 26 working days (1 July 2026). Raised from Rs 37,000; notification reported on 19 August 2026. A driver is a skilled role, so most experienced drivers are paid above this floor. Published market data shows a very wide spread: WageIndicator reports pay for car, taxi and van drivers in Pakistan from Rs 16,710 to Rs 92,896 a month in 2026, and Indeed’s national average for drivers was Rs 30,006 a month (1 August 2026, 449 reported salaries). Those averages include part-time and informal work; for a full-time household or office role you should plan for at least the statutory minimum.

What pushes a driver’s salary up: long or unpredictable hours, frequent late evenings, Sunday duty, premium or automatic vehicles, executive and guest-handling duties, and a live-out arrangement where the driver commutes. What keeps it predictable: a fixed duty window, one weekly day off, a clear overtime rule and a written list of duties. Fuel, tolls, parking and servicing remain the car owner’s costs unless you agree otherwise.
